A pop artist, teacher, activist and nun active in California in the 1960’s and 70’s, Sister Mary’s art elevated the mundane to the magical.
Dedicated to peace, freedom and equality, she focused on screen printing in order to democratize her work and the powerful messages within them.
For all these reasons, she’s been an idol of ours, and our studio is a tribute to her memory.
